Trade marks

Two names, one group, written down properly.

Credicorp is the registered mark the lender trades under. Credit Corp is the name used on this site — the trading style of Creditcorp, the registered UK trade mark held by the brand company. Two marks, held by two companies in the same family, with a signed agreement that says exactly how they sit together.

The short version

You may have seen both Credicorp and Creditcorp in use. They are two trade marks owned within the same group, not a typo and not two rival firms, and there is nothing tangled about it.

Credicorp is the established brand — a fully registered UK trade mark, number UK00004156742, in classes 36 and 45, held by Credicorp Limited. It is the name you see whenever you actually borrow, at credicorp.co.uk.

Credit Corp is the newer name — the one on this very website, and the front door you are standing in right now. It belongs to CM Beyer Limited, the group’s brand and marketing arm, registered as the wordmark Creditcorp at the UK Intellectual Property Office, number UK00004379570.

The two companies share a single director. Each maintains its own registered office, and back in April 2026 they signed a written agreement so both names sit happily side by side, and that is the whole story. Everything below is just the detail, for anyone who wants to check it.

Creditcorp — now on the register

The Creditcorp mark was filed by CM Beyer Limited on 28 April 2026 and advertised in Trade Marks Journal 2026/020 on 15 May 2026. It cleared its two-month advertisement without a successful objection, and the UK Intellectual Property Office entered it on the register.

In plain terms:

  • Creditcorp is a registered UK trade mark, number UK00004379570, in classes 35 and 36.
  • It was entered on the register on 24 July 2026, with CM Beyer Limited as proprietor.

Both group marks are now fully registered. This page mirrors the UK IPO register alongside the group’s trade-marks page, and both are updated to match the register, not the other way round.

The coexistence agreement

Two marks in the same group don’t coexist by accident — they coexist on paper.

Most people just want to know which name to trust and where to go next. The quick answers are right below — no legalese, promise.

Trade-mark questions, answered plainly

How is Credicorp different from Credit Corp?

They are two separate UK trade marks held by two UK companies that share a director. Credicorp is the established mark held by Credicorp Limited (16093826), the operating lender you reach at credicorp.co.uk. Creditcorp is the newer mark, registered to CM Beyer Limited, the group's brand arm, on 24 July 2026.

Why does the group hold two marks?

Because it runs two legally distinct UK companies, each needing its own brand protection. The Credicorp mark covers the lender's services. The Creditcorp mark covers the wider, customer-facing group identity you are reading now. Both sit side by side under a written agreement between the two companies.

Is the Creditcorp mark registered?

Yes. The UK Intellectual Property Office entered Creditcorp on the register on 24 July 2026 under number UK00004379570, in classes 35 and 36, with CM Beyer Limited as proprietor. It came through examination and its two-month advertisement in the Trade Marks Journal without a successful objection, and it renews every ten years on its 28 April filing anniversary.

Are both marks actually in use?

Yes. Credicorp is the live trading name of the lender at credicorp.co.uk, and Credit Corp is the growing group name you are using right now at corp.creditcorp.co.uk. Both are in genuine, active use within the same corporate group.

Who do I contact about the trade marks?

The UK IPO representative for both marks is Trama Legal s.r.o., 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE — named on the UKIPO register and in clause 16.2 of the coexistence agreement.

Make sure you have the right Credicorp. Credit Corp Group means Credit Corp Group Limited (UK, company no. 17338274) and CM Beyer Limited (UK, company no. 17009212), together with the group-related Credicorp Pty Limited (Australia, ACN 679 428 605, credicorp.com.au). It is not connected with, owned by or affiliated to Credicorp Inc / Credit Corp Group Limited of Peru & Bermuda (BCP, NYSE: BAP) or Banco de Crédito del Perú, to Credicorp Nigeria, or to Credit Corp Group Limited of Australia (ASX: CCP) — each a separate, unrelated company.

Credicorp lends only to bodies corporate. Under Article 60B of the FSMA Regulated Activities Order 2001, lending to a body corporate is not a regulated “credit agreement”, so Credicorp is not FCA-authorised (authorisation is not required), and the Financial Ombudsman Service and FSCS do not apply to its business lending, which is not consumer credit.

None of this needs to be taken on trust — every record is public.
